A sidewalk has been constructed from the Helicopter pad to the street to aid emergency workers in moving patients from the ambulance to the helicopter during a medical emergency. Pushing a gurney across the field was difficult and bumpy. A joint effort between the Community Betterment Club, the Goodman Rural Fire Protection District and the City of Goodman made this possible. Work was completed October 1st, 2010. Working on the project but not pictured were Jimmie Morgan, Marshall Long and David Sarratt.
