The City of Goodman is holding a public hearing on Friday August 27, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Goodman City Hall to set the 2010 TAX LEVY at 0.6308 per $100.00 valuation on Real Estate and Personal Property.

2009 Personal valuation was       $2,831,619.00

2009 Real Estate valuation was   $5,777,790.00

The tax rate for 2009 taxes was $0.6018 per $100.00 assessed valuation.

2010 Personal valuation is          $1,996,733.00

2010 Real Estate valuation is      $6,065,250.00

Agenda:

1.  Call the meeting to order at 7:00PM

2.  Open the meeting for the Public Hearing.

3.  Vote on Bill # 2010-414 for Ordinance #2010-424 twice setting the 2010 tax levy at $0.6308. (Note that this is an emergency ordinance as state law requires the tax levy to be set by September 1, 2010.

4.  Adjourn the meeting.
